I previously announced that the forum would be made read-only at the end of October 2026. It was always my intention to replace it with a static archive some point after that.
Today the PHP project pre-announced two critical vulnerabilities. Information on the affected versions and patches are to be released later. As a precaution I took the forum offline this morning. Instead of dealing with waiting for the new versions and any follow-up vulnerabilities that are discovered I decided to retire the forum early as it has not seen any recent activity. It’s been replaced by a static archive.
