Contributions are welcome, although keep in mind that it’s still early days and the team is small. The greatest source of ongoing work at the moment is keeping packages up to date, and packaging new software. Where possible we aim to pull cports changes from Chimera, as well as upstream appropriate changes.
See also the “AI”-generated contribution policy.
Casuarina development happens in the casuarina organisation on
Codeberg. Changes should be submitted via pull request for review.
Should it not be possible to open a pull request for some reason, smaller
patches can also be accepted via email to
wes@casuarina.org.
Package building is fully automated with Buildbot, the same as Chimera. The Casuarina Buildbot is available at build.casuarina.org. Members of the Casuarina organisation on Codeberg can log into Buildbot with their Codeberg account.
Casuarina uses self-hosted Forgejo Actions runners for CI.
